Allison Ianni is an experienced attorney, workplace investigator, and mediator with more than a decade of employment law experience. Prior to joining EPT, Allison was a partner in the Employment and Labor practice group of Goldberg Segalla LLP, an AmLaw 100 Firm; served as Of Counsel and a senior attorney at Ogletree Deakins, an international employment law firm; and worked as an associate at Seyfarth Shaw LLP and Proskauer Rose LLP.
Allison has extensive experience in all aspects of employment law from litigation to advice and counsel. Over the years, her employment practice focused primarily on counseling management on human resources issues, including hiring, evaluating, disciplining, and terminating employees; managing leaves of absence and other employee accommodations; drug testing; and wage and hour laws. She also often conducted leadership and employee training; drafted and revised employment-related documents, including severance agreements, restrictive covenant agreements, employment agreements, and employee handbooks; and served as lead counsel in matters before federal and state courts and administrative agencies.
Prior to and since joining EPT, Allison also has conducted numerous complex workplace investigations concerning claims of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, whistleblowing, and more, across a variety of industries, including non-profits, media and hospitality companies, and healthcare and higher education institutions. Allison is also certified in conducting investigations and hearings under the new Title IX regulations. Allison is a frequent speaker on employment law and workplace compliance topics.
Allison attended Hofstra University School of Law, where she served as notes and comments editor for the Hofstra Law Review and from which graduated cum laude. She also graduated cum laude from New York University with a bachelor’s in Journalism and English Literature.
Allison is admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, as well as before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
